Hello everyone. I hope you all are having a great Labor day. Thank you Rebekah for leading our marriage study for the past few weeks. You did a great job! If anyone would like any information from our last study, let me know.

We will begin 40 Days of Love this Sunday. This will be a church wide study.

There will also be a Block Party that evening from 6 - 8 pm. Our class along with the other young married departments were asked to greet families and show them around the party. This will give you and your family time to enjoy all of the activities and hopefully meet and get to know our neighbors who attend. Please plan to be there at 6pm.

Kevin, Bridgette, Grace, and Trinity will be leaving for East Asia tomorrow. Please pray for them to have a safe and fast trip. We are going to miss the Godins so much, but I thank God for letting them be a part of our group for a while. We will definitely keep in touch with the Godins and keep them in our prayers.

Please pray for Mike Lewis and Jim Archer. They are supposed to be flying home tomorrow. Jim has lost his passport. Please pray that it is found and that he is able to come home on time.

Today Kevin challenged us to pick out a verse or portion of the scripture we read from James chapter 1 and apply it to our lives. Next Sunday we will have a chance to share what part of the scripture we chose and how we applied it to our lives. Let's all take this challenge.
